little local corner store has a wide selection of fresh made salads, tarts, cakes, quiches and sausage rolls! They also do catering and specialise in take-home ready made delights! Lasagne $9.9 Small dine in salad ($12.4) Quinoa & Citrus Chilli Dressing (Roast capsicum, pumpkin, onion, broccoli, chickpeas, quinoa, spinach) Vegan, DF, GF Roasted Vegetables (carrot, parsnip, pumpkin) Vegetable Frittata $8.9 GF The fritatta (about 2.5cm thick 7.5cm long and 6cm across) had tomato, spinach, fetta, pumpkin, I think bok choy, was nice, needed salt though, could have had more fetta I think to enhance flavours, filling and tasty, didn’t leave oily marks on plate. the mango chutney served with it was nicly spiced and sweet but didn’t go with the dish at all. The quinoa was just cold and boring, the chickpeas same. But the pumpkin and raost carrots were hearty and filling, minimal oil residue, garlic came through nicely. Beautiful, delicious home made pastries and baked treats fusion and traditional. Great selection of salads. Very nice coffee and the lady in charge, very friendly and pleasant. Larger space would be great

My day off today so I decided to take my wife to a cafe I have always wanted to try in Whatley Crescent in Maylands, as I pass it every morning on my way to work.While passing the other shops I noticed an unusual name of a cafe on the window. It was Smoults Larder and looking through the window I saw a huge food cabinet that was so hypnotic it drew us in. I chose to try 4 different salads while my wife chose potato salad and a chicken and leak pie which wasn't the pastry type. Wow, my taste buds nearly exploded due to what I fed them. My wife was over the moon with how her taste buds were responding. In the 11 years I have been in Perth this was undoubtedly the best cafe we have ever tried. Such a wide array of mouth watering food plus there is a smaller cabinet with cakes, slices etc. I enjoyed the food so much that I purchased some more in a takeaway container for work tomorrow. Our visit there made us realise there are places that stand out from the rest of them. I enjoyed it so much so that Smoult's Larder will now be my go to place to indulge in taste exciting food. They also have a range of chutneys, relishes, sauces etc to purchase. I even noticed what looked like in house made bread on the main cabinet. If you have tried the rest then it's time to try the best. Smoults Larder in Whatley Crescent, Maryland's. But be warned, your taste buds may become hypo active from all the tantalising tastes there is to excite them. As Arnold Swartzennager in the Terminator movie said; "I'll be back", and so will my wife and I.

Went to this place for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Food at this place tasted great and I was served by a very patient tall young lady. My mum got a roasted vegetable salad from the counter display, I got Scrambled Eggs with Chives (about 18 or 19 dollars) and my daughter got a Scrambled Eggs (about 13 or 14 dollars). Smoult's Larder is simply exceptional, and honestly, we cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment you walk in, you're met with seriously good food and fantastic coffee, but what truly sets Smoult's apart is the amazing service. The team, especially Georgie and the whole crew, are incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely put a lot of love into what they do. We absolutely love coming here, and for catering, particularly Christmas orders, it's an absolute no-brainer – yummm! Whether you're popping in for a quick bite or planning a big event, Smoult's Larder delivers on all fronts. Do yourself a favour and check them out!

Went to the cafe on Sunday and it was packed! Although it was busy which is typical for any cafes on Sunday, the staff maintained composure and delivered exceptional customer service. The two girls (unsure of their names) were bubbly, helpful and welcoming. The brunette even assisted me in navigating the train system across the road. Even if the coffee was terrible the customer service alone would make me come back. However they are the best both of best worlds and deliver amazing coffee! #customerforlifewhenimintown

Where to even begin? Georgie and the team are just the most lovely humans. It’s a warm and welcoming place with just the best service. Really cute, unique market items, and specialty treats. Dela makes an incredible coffee and the food is fantastic. Oh and the dogs! There’s always the cutest pups from other customers posted up for pats. Just another sign of the good vibes just radiating from this wonderful place.
